I unlocked two weapons today.
The Tribalman's shiv for the sniper and
Frontier Justice for the engineer. The Frontier Justice "cannot randomly Crit and has half the magazine size of the regular Shotgun (3 from 6), but can get
Revenge Crits: For every kill your Sentry Gun racks up, upon its destruction the Frontier Justice gets 2 guaranteed Crits; for every assist, it gets 1. This applies even if the Engineer destroys his own Sentry Gun with the
PDA. However, the Frontier Justice can only store up to 35 Critical hits at one time." It's an interesting concept, which I'm going to play with. It allows the engineer to store massive amounts of damage until they need it.
The Tribalman's shiv (with suspect spelling) "leaves a seeping wound upon striking an enemy, which
bleeds out for 6 seconds after being inflicted. However, the knife itself deals 50% less damage as a trade-off." This could be a good way of making the Sniper more of a threat in melee, but the kukri was always pretty powerful with a long range to help. We'll see.
